1. What’s your favourite GM car model? Why?

This has to be the Corvette. If anyone has ever driven one, they know why. When you have 638HP at your disposal and the handling and engineering this vehicle has, it’s comparable to – if not better than – vehicles that are three and four times the cost.

2. What was your first car?

My first car was a red fiberglass body, street legal Dune Buggy – a convertible.

3. What’s your most memorable driving experience?

One of my most memorable driving experiences was to drive four laps on a race track with professional Indy 500 race car driver Claude Boubonnais. It was in Montreal two years ago in one of our GM high performance cars. I’ll never forget that one…

4. What’s your favourite Olympic memory?

One of many Olympic memories is back in 1988 at the Calgary Olympics when we first got introduced to Eddie ‘The Eagle’ Edwards from Britain. It was inspiring to see how the Canadian coach and athletes gave him help with equipment and coaching. This to me is the spirit of the Olympics.

5. What part of the road trip are you looking forward to the most?

The part I am looking forward to the most is when the Flame arrives in Vancouver.

6. What part are you looking forward to the least?

The cold in Thunder Bay, Kenora and Winnipeg in the beginning of January; this will be the true test for all of us.

9. Favourite Winter Olympic sport and why?

Has to be hockey – I am a huge fan of hockey

10. Which country do you think is the underdog in the 2010 Games? For which sport?

I think it’s safe to say that Latvia would be an underdog in hockey.

11. How many medals will Canada win this Winter Olympics? How many gold?

I believe we will have at least 35 medals in total and 12 gold medals

12. What other important things do you want people to know about you?

I will be making the most of this unique opportunity that I was given.
